Pianist Dino Imeri is announcing his annual solo recital in Skopje to be held at the Faculty of Music Arts concert hall (ul. Pitu Guli no.1, 4th floor) on 10th of December, 2015 (Thursday) at 8 pm.
Following recent successes, among which Imeri's performance of Rachmaninoff's Third piano concerto (one of the most difficult works written for the piano, according to pianists and musicologists alike) with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and Maestro Nayden Todorov, as well as a recent performance with the world-renowned Macedonian singers Ana and Igor Durlovski, the pianist has chosen a program consisting of some of his favorite works written for the instrument, among which a premiere of a composition by Damir Imeri and a performance of a work written by Zhivojin Glishic.
Mr. Imeri would also like to use this opportunity to introduce to the audience a phenomenal young talent - pianist Arda Mustafaoglu (a student of prof. Samira Mustafaoglu), who is already well-known internationally by winning several prizes at prestigious piano competitions as well as by performing recitals in Macedonia and abroad.
The entrance is free and the concert is organized with the generous support from the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Macedonia, Faculty of Music Arts-Skopje and Musical Journeys.
